Change my Gravatar Profile Picture

  I have reset my password many times in order to change my Gravatar. I keep getting the message that a confirmation email was sent. I only received the password reset email. When I reset my password, and try to login to change the Gravatar, I get the message that a confirmation email was sent. I’m going in circles, and getting frustrated. I’d appreciate any help. Thank you.

  Hi,

  I have reset my password many times in order to change my Gravatar.

  It is not necessary to change a password in order to change the Gravatar. If you can log into the site, you should be able to change the Gravatar.

  When I reset my password, and try to login to change the Gravatar, I get the message that a confirmation email was sent.

  So are you unable to log in to the site presently?

  I can log in to the site, but when I click on my image to change the Gravatar, I get a message that a confirmation email was sent and to use that. I didn’t receive a confirmation email.

  I also read that to reset my password would automatically confirm my email, but that doesn’t help.

  Have you accepted the confirmation, and logged into the site using the new password?

  Yes, I have. But that doesn’t seem to help. I get the same response each time.

  I don’t think “accepted the confirmation” is the correct way to put it. I think you’ve got to click on a link in the email message to confirm the pw change. Then it may ask you to log in under the new password.

  I tried again and reset my password. I still can’t change the Gravatar. I get the message that they sent me a confirmation email when I signed up for Gravatar. I don’t have it.

  Your account wasn’t verified due to an old bug (one we had when you first registered) but I was able to correct that for you — I could tell by the password resets that your email was working just fine. Let us know if you need any help!
