change my primary URL

  Hi All,

  I would like to change the URL to my blog from mrchuckmeister.wordpress.com to capsie.wordpress.com

  Is there a possibility for me to do that ?

  To change a blog URL ending in wordpress.com, please follow these steps. Another alternative is to purchase a custom domain name to take “wordpress” out of the domain altogether.

  I tried to follow those steps, but the option to “Change Blog Address” does not appear – in fact, all I get is “Leave Blog”.

  Leave blog means you are not the owner of the blog – you need to be logged in as the blog owner to change the URL –

  Yup, thanks, I just confirmed that. It turns out that I also have the original username of the blog, but it’s bee almost 5 years since I used it.
