change my theme doesn’t work

  hi
  I have tried many times to change my theme, it shows free, but when click customise, it does work. Can you please let me know how can I change appearance without upgrading ?

  What theme are you trying to change to? You will need to ensure that the theme you want to switch to is free and not a premium theme. You can check out all of the free themes here: https://wordpress.com/themes/free/
