  Hi,

  I want to change the theme of my website to responsive design.
  What are the steps I need to do?

  You can find themes for your blog at https://wordpress.org/themes/

  Just to be clear, this forum provides support for WordPress.com. Your blog is on the self-hosted WordPress.org. These are two different entities and you can learn more about their differences here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Hostgator.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  Hi staff-cara your replies were caught in the forum spam filter. If you reply and your post “evaporates” give it a minute and then hard refresh your browser window. If you still don’t see your reply after that, please add the MODLOOK tag and VOLUNTEER IN SPAM tag and someone will be by to fish you out.

  Hey, @justjennifer !

  So that’s what happened! I kept wondering where my replies went because my replies in other threads were posting fine. Thank you for helping me out with that and I’ll keep your advice in mind for next time. :) Do you know what may have triggered it? Or how I can keep that from happening in the future?

  staff-cara it sometimes happens if your reply contains links. No worries though, if we unspam your messages, our filters will learn not to spam them again :).
