change my user name

  hi, i am new to this website and my question is how can i change my user name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  From my experience the best method is to log into your site admin panel. The same place you create pages, posts and whatnot. In the upper right corner of the site you will see three icons. If you hover over them you will see (from left to right) “Create a New Post” and next to that will be “Update your profile…”. Click on update profile. This will allow you to change your display name. As far as changing the rest of the information, if it is the user account you created the site with, this is about all you can do.

  The other option is to go to users on the left side of the main administration panel and click “People”. Here you can add a new person and invite them to be an administrator of the site (if you are logged in as the administrator) or any other role you prefer. You can have several administrator accounts on the site if you so choose. Then just switch what account you log in under and you should be good to go.

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.
