change my username? link my domain?

  I have two questions:
  1. I am trying to change my username to closecallstudio which is a username I had linked with another wordpress. I changed the username on that wordpress but it won’t let me change my current username to closecallstudio.

  2. I purchased my domain through mydomain and it is currentmy being directed to my cargocollective page. I would like y domain to be connected to my wordpress instead.

  Hi there!

  Let me answer each question separately:

  I am trying to change my username to closecallstudio which is a username I had linked with another wordpress. I changed the username on that wordpress but it won’t let me change my current username to closecallstudio.

  It looks like that username was previously owned by a user and then was deleted. Once a username is in use, even if it is deleted, you will not be able to use it again at WordPress.com.

  However, you can change how your username appears to others by adjusting your display name as shown here:

  It looks like you recently attempted to setup a mapping upgrade for closecallstudio.com. However, it looks like that upgrade has since been cancelled and refunded. Did you still want to set this up? If so, you can do so following the instructions here:
