Change name of blog

  When my blog was started in 2013 I wrote about paper crafts only. Now I write about journaling and other crafts like knitting. I want to change the name from uniquelyyourscards.WordPress.com to uniquelyyourscards&crafts.WordPress.com. How do I do that?

  Hi @uniquelyyourscards,

  To change your current site address from <i>uniquelyyourscards.WordPress.com</i> to <i>uniquelyyourscards&crafts.WordPress.com</i>:

  1. Go to My Site → Manage → Domains

  2. Click your site address uniquelyyourscards.wordpress.com and then select Change site address.

  3. Then enter your new site address and WordPress will let you know if that new address is available. <i>By the way, WordPress requires site address to consist of letters and numbers only. The “&” in your uniquelyyourscards&crafts will not be allowed. </i>

  4. Once you’re done, click the Change site address button.

  TAKE NOTE: Once you change your site address, the links to your old address, including search engine results, will be broken or will stop working. Visitors will not be redirected to your new site address. The old address will not be available for use again.
