change name of links widget

  I want to use the links widget but give it another name. In other words I want to do a list of links for military families and I want to call it Resources for Military Families not Links

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What I’m trying to do would be called a links typelist in TypePad.

  Hi there,

  When you add the Links Widget, the name of the category you choose in the first drop-down menu in the widget will be used as the name of the widget on your page.

  To set that up, you can go to your Link Categories under Links > Link Categories in your WP Admin dashboard to add a new category named “Resources for Military Families.” Then, you can add your links to that category. In the widget, when you choose that category, it will give the widget the same title as the category name.
