For which domain name you are trying to change nameservers?
Are you logged into the correct WordPress.com account which owns this domain name?
Did you check the guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/ page?
Meanwhile, I am tagging this thread with modlook for the attention of the support staff.
How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

May I provide some possibly helpful information please?
sauntertheglobe.com is hosted by GoDaddy.com
Name Servers:
ns06.domaincontrol.com
ns05.domaincontrol.com@foreversaunter Is that the domain URL you are referring to? Are you planning to move your content into a wordpress.COM hosted site and to map an existing domain?
If you are migrating from a self hosted WordPress.ORG site to WordPress.COM please see: Moving from a Self-Hosted WordPress to WordPress.com
https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/ https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-self-hosted/Otherwise see: Importing Content from Another Platform
https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/#importing-content-from-another-platformWordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
We have 4 different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose. You can view all wordpress.com plan features here https://wordpress.com/pricing/ Add a plan for each of your sites here: http://store.wordpress.com/plans/.
How domain mapping works
Registering an underlying .wordpress.com URL first is required for domain mapping. That underlying URL does not have to match the domain URL when you are domain mapping. What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL .wordpress.com to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/There are 3 ways to add a custom domain to your blog. Please note that an active WordPress.com plan is required to add a custom domain to your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#getting-started
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.

@foreversaunter
Perhaps you are referring to moving your content at http://sauntertheglobecom.wordpress.com/ in the opposite direction it. to your Godaddy hosted site at http://sauntertheglobe.comIf so, then that site is on a .wordpress.com sub domain, not on a custom domain so this is not a matter of re pointing name servers. See: Export / Import Content https://move.wordpress.com/exportimport-content/

Hi foreversaunter,
There are no domains owned by the account you are logged in to. Can you confirm which domain you would like to update the name servers for? Do you want to use the domain on a WordPress.com site?
If you let me know, I’ll take a look.
Thanks!

Hi all,
Thanks so much for your help.
I bought the domain http://www.sauntertheglobe.com from Go Daddy.
I have started building the website on WordPress, however, I would like to migrate it to a .com.When I try to change the name servers, shown in the WordPress examples, there’s no option to change them for me?
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers,

Hi Eva,
I bought the domain http://www.sauntertheglobe.com from Go Daddy.
It appears the domain is currently being forwarded to your WordPress.com site. If you would like to use sauntertheglobe.com instead of sauntertheglobecom.wordpress.com, domain mapping is what you need:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
Domain mapping is available through all paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business. Each plan includes a domain credit which you can use to either map a domain or register a new one.
When I try to change the name servers, shown in the WordPress examples, there’s no option to change them for me?
The name servers can’t be updated from your WordPress.com account because the domain is registered through GoDaddy. Once you’ve added a plan and domain mapping for your site, the name servers will need to be pointed to WordPress.com from your GoDaddy account:
I hope this helps but please let me know if you need any more information.

Thank you! So so helpful.
I’ve upgraded my account and updated the name server on Go Daddy to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMIs this correct? I should work in a few hours, is that correct?

Hi Eva,
Is this correct? I should work in a few hours, is that correct?
That’s correct :) It can take up to 48 hours for name servers to fully update but I’ve just checked your site and they appear to be working already. If you visit sauntertheglobe.com and aren’t seeing your WordPress.com site, please clear the browser cache:
Give that a try and let me know if it works.
