Change Name Server

  Hi

  I need to change the name server for rebawhitewilliams.com (which is the redirect for rebawhitewilliamsdotcom.wordpress.com)

  I have done this before in WordPress with relative ease, but the options and steps here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/ and here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/ seem to no longer apply. The only options I have available are”Edit DNS” and “Manage Domain Subscriptions” neither of which have the name server option.

  Do I need to un-link Jetpack to make it work? I have built the new site at the new hosting company, and have linked Jetpack to the development site.

  Please help!

  Hi there,

  The domain rebawhitewilliams.com is owned by a different WordPress.com user on this blog. Only the domain owner can make changes to the domain’s name servers. (You don’t need to unlink Jetpack to do this; that won’t interfere with the process.)

  If you aren’t sure who owns the domain, you can go to Store > My Upgrades to find out. Under the domain name, you’ll see “Purchased by” and the name of the user who bought the domain. That user will need to log in to make changes to the domain.
