Change Name Servers

  I am trying to change my name servers to point to Blue Host instead of wordpress.com so I can access my wordpress.org Dashboard. Everytime I try to log into my WordPress.org Dashboard it keeps pointing me back to my WordPress.com Dashboard. Please, any help or response at all would be great.

  Hi @stylesurrendered – Here’s the instructions to change the Name Servers on your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

  If you registered your custom domain through WordPress.com, you will need to complete a transfer to move it to Blue Host. Have you done that already? If not, here’ show: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  Hello,

  Thank you but I have transferred it to Blue Host already. I have also visited the page where the change name servers article is posted. However once I go to the appointed areas to change the namer servers I do not have the option to click on “Name Servers and DNS” to then toggle the Use WordPress.com servers option.

  Instead, where I should be able to click “Name Servers and DNS” I only have the option “DNS Records”. Once I click on that I see no option to redirect servers or stop using wordpress servers.

  It can take 48-72 hours for the name servers to get changed entirely. When I visit http://www.stylesurrendered.com/ it is on the Blue Host landing page.
