Change name servers for cancelled domain

    I’ve accidentally cancelled the domain along with my plan. The domain registration is good through 3-17, so to properly redirect the domain to my new site, I need to change the name servers.

    However in my account settings>domains, the domain is not listed (I am able to see the invoice in order history) and after researching for hours on end I cannot find another way to access my domain details or change DNS.

    How can I accomplish this? Thanks!

    We need details please.
    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?

    Hi there,

    You cancelled that domain on 4 September. When you cancel a domain you stop being the owner and the domain registrar can do whatever they want with the domain. It’s not possible to make changes to a domain you don’t own.

    Since you’ve cancelled it that domain has passed into Redemption. That means the registrar is preparing to delete it and release it so anyone can buy it again. If you still want that domain we’ll need to email the registrar and ask them to restore the domain to our account, but they charge a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can attempt to recover the domain.
