Change Name Servers on Word Press

  Dear,

  I want to change the nameservers to my hosted nameservers like explained below.
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

  But I don’t have the button Name Servers & DNS on my Domain module. Can you help me?

  Hello
  Are you trying to bring a domain name to point to selinaverniers.wordpress.com? I looked, and although you have the name reserved, there is no content yet. Without a site to point the domain to, i do not believe you can map the domain name. In other words you must have something to point to.

  If you are trying to point to a site at Combell, where you appear to have bought a hosting plan, you still do not have any content to point to, even though they have space for you:

  Domeinnaam werd geactiveerd
  Webpagina is geparkeerd voor een Combell.com klant

  Addendum:
  It could also be you do not have a domain mapping upgrade in your account:
  In the second sentence of
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
  it says

  You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain

  You might need to purchase a domain upgrade before you can do this:
  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Hey Dave,

  I have a domain mapping upgrade to http://www.geluksvlinder.be
  Wordpress tells me to change the nameservers through Combell.
  But combell tells me to change the nameservers in WordPress. Don’t know who is right.

  Just e-mailed Combell again

  Hi Selina
  If your content is going to live here at WordPress.com then the nameservers will have to point to WordPress.com

  If your content is going to be hosted at Combell then the nameservers will have to point there.

  Since Combell seems to be who you bought the domain from, the nameservers at Combell should be the ones that are changed, if necessary.

  Now WordPress tells me that the nameservers are validated but I still don’t get a page :(

  Hello Selina
  Now comes the fun part! You have space at Combell to make a page. You will need to sign in to your account there and start creating your pages. They should have WordPress installed for you, if not they will if you ask. To do this, you will have to sign in to your account at Combell. If you have trouble they can help you with logging in and setting up the basics of your site.

  At this point, you have what we call a self-hosted blog. If you have trouble with WordPress itself, you can ask our counterparts in English at https://en.forums.wordpress.org. There is also support available in Norwegian at https://nl.wordpress.org/
