-
Hi,
If someone could help w/ the following for the “Shine On” theme, that’d be great:
1. eliminate 2nd header and the line under it (“sugarmethod” + “this site is the cats pajamas”)
2. Change navbar color to blue and eliminate the design directly under navbar
3. Change bkgd color of widget/search field area (currently navy blue)
4. Eliminate footer design @ very bottom of pageThanks in advance for any help you can offer!

1. You change the site description at Settings > General. It is always good to have a short, descriptive site description for the search engines. To hide the title and description from view, go to Appearance > Customize > Site Title, uncheck “Display Header Text” and save.
2. Add the following to your Custom CSS. Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all of the informational text and paste in the following. Edit the background color code in the first rule for the blue you desire. The second rule has the menu text color, which you may need to change depending on how dark the blue is you set for the background. The third rule hides the graphic image below the menu bar.
.navbar, .format-gallery, .format-chat { background-color: #F7F084; } .nav-menu li a { color: #252137; } .site-header:after { background: none; }3. Add this CSS and edit the color as desired for the footer widget area.
.site-footer .sidebar-container { background: #252137; }4. @timethief has answered above.

@ timethief – my intention was never to get rid of the credit links, I simply don’t need the illustration at the foot of the page. thanks for the support docs link, I’ll check that out.
