Change of address

    I do not want my visible name as 57usna, but something else. How do I do that? I really should not have used tat from the beginning since I am hardly the only graduate of the US Naval Academy, Class of 1957

    Hi Allen!

    You have two options when changing your name:

    1. You can change your actual username by following the instructions here:

      Change Your Username

      Just a note, this will change the actual username you use when logging on to WordPress.com. It will also make your previous username unavailable (so neither you nor anyone else would be able to register it going forward).

    2. You can change your display name following the instructions here:

      Change Your Username

      With this option, your username would remain the same. However, your new display name would display in place of your username in comments and blog post author sections.
