change of admin – new payment

  My former colleague was the admin for this site. She retired a few years ago and needs to hand the payment for the site over to me now. She added me as admin but I can’t seem to pay because I’m not logged in as her. The payment was formerly coming out of her personal account and I want to use the institution’s card now.

  Hi there, if she is no longer managing your site then ideally she would need to transfer ownership of the site and the domain to your administrator account.

  We do have guides for this here, I would suggest moving first the domain, and then the site ownership:

  2. https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  With that done, you’ll be able to add the institution’s card to pay for the renewal! I hope that helps, if you do have any other questions let us know.
