Change of Domain!

  Hi! I was hoping to change the domain of my blog. I currently have the domain http://www.theblancspaceblog.wordpress.com

  I noticed today that the site formally known as http://www.theblancspacepage.wordpress.com was deleted. When I tried to enter that in as my new domain, it stated it was still used. Is there a way you could help me take over the domain ‘the blanc space’. I’m hoping to get that domain and to get a plan.

  Hi –

  It won’t be possible to get ownership of the theblancspacepage.wordpress.com unless you were the original owner. Only the owner can delete or request that we restore the site address.

  I accidentally added the wrong handle.

  This is the domain I want and if you click on it, it states that the author deleted the site…wouldn’t this mean the domain is up for grabs?

  What staff-zinnia said above applies to https://theblancspace.wordpress.com/ A deleted WordPress.com address can only be recovered by the person who deleted it (and only within 30 days of deletion). After that it is unavailable for anyone forever.

  PS: theblancspacepage.wordpress.com does seem to be available though.
