change of e-mail address

I have done this in the account settings, but got two e-mails. On telling me that I had to go to another place and where I cannot get any response and the second one telling me that I needed to do nothing. My Account page now tells me that ‘There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please check your inbox for a confirmation link.’ I have done this but cannot get response – it won’t save the new address . Where am I going wrong. I have been compelled to change e-mail address, all I need to do is change it.

Hi @fruitforum, the email was sent about a week ago, so you’ll want to be sure you’re checking older emails.
I’m not sure what this means though:

If you did not intend to change the address, you can go ahead and cancel that change; no problem. Can you clarify where you were compelled to change it?
