Change of internet provider and so change of email address

  Hello
  We are about to change internet provider and so will have a new email address with my husband. I already have my own gmail address. Can I use this one? And if so how do I change it to be able to log in? I can’t afford to pay for an upgrade at present so can i do this free on my wordpress account for both my sites? Thanks for any help you can give me. Julia

  Hi Julia, you are welcome to use your gmail address on your account. Head to https://wordpress.com/me/account and change the address there, then confirm it with the link you’ll get by email.

  If you’re already using the same address with a different account, you will get an error, but if so just add a “dot” before the @ symbol. Gmail will still deliver mail to your regular inbox, but WordPress.com will see it as a different email address.
