Change of link in 'About'

  Hi everyone,

  I am altering my ‘About me’ page and as I wrote it down, it became apparent to me that all I then get for the link is:

  http://sharonharveywriter.wordpress.com

  I wanted, since advertising the links on my various sites to have the ‘about me’ there as the title always is visible on any post/pages I make.

  I did check a couple of other wordpress sites that my friend has and in particular her ‘About me’ and I did notice her did say ‘about’ after ‘wordpress.com as in this sense:

  About The Author

  I’ve played around with the link and added, hello or about, but nothing comes up but the same as my link above ie sharonharveywriter etc….when I recheck my amendment on the link, it is still there but refuses to show in the link when I post.

  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and explain please as to why I can’t have what my friend has above on her log.
