Change of Ownership

    This restaurant is previously owned by someone else. We brought the restaurant recently and then found out about the wordpress website they have created eith their contact and menu. We have changed the menu and contact is different. Previous owners aren’t providing the login credentials for wordpress. Kindly help me with taking over the website to make changes.

    Can you tell me the URL of the website in question?

    If the site is hosted with us on WordPress.com, the only way you can take over ownership of the site is if the current owner transferred it to you. We consider the individual who created the site as the owner, and we don’t transfer ownership on the request of a third party under any circumstances.

    The previous owner isn’t responding to me. I faced a lot of problems with them since we bought the restaurant. They weren’t sharing any credentials nor they were transferring ownership. They are misguiding the customers who are calling from the website that the restaurant is closed forever. They are just ruining my business. I also have the lease copy showing proof that we brought the restaurant. Kindly look into this and help me out. If you cannot transfer the ownership, you can at least delete that website. So that they don’t misguide any more customers. I will create a new website with you after that. Thank you!
