Change of privilge

Our community village hall website was created by P.H. who has had a stroke and can not recall password etc.
With the help of his wife we have now limited access. However we wish to update and change theme etc but don’t seem have enough privilege at present. Can’t see pages. How do we go about getting full access and control? -

If you have access to the email account that’s attached your website, you can request for a password reset.

If they can’t access their email to request a password reset, then in order to regain access to a WordPress.com account, we’ll need one of the following things:
* A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account

* The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us.
