change of theme

  I have currently “Chateau” but as my blog contains lots of images, i want to change to HER or PHOTOLUX and purchase a new theme but I am wondering what will happen with the archive. Will they be affected? can I change the skin and keep the current archive as is?

  The content of the blog is not affected by changing themes.

  HER? PHOTOLUX? These aren’t wordpress.com themes. On wordpress.com you can only use the themes you can find in Appearance > Themes or read about and see in action here:
  http://theme.wordpress.com/

  Thank you Juspi, but actually they are… which is why I am confused. Look:

  So I bought it but now I am not sure how to do it. write and take pictures I can but I am not very tech… Thank you again for your reply.

  We cannot use themes found on the internet: we have no ftp access to upload them. The only themes we can use are found:
  dashboard—>appearance—>themes
  or
  http://wordpress.com/themes/
