Change of URL address while retaining my purchased theme

  I need to change my URL address, currently http://www.discipleofthecity.com while retaining the theme i purchased, how do i go about doing this?

  Hi Con,

  In order to change the domain discipleofthecity.com, you will need to first register the new domain following the steps here:

  Register a New Domain

  Then, set the new domain as the primary domain here:

  https://discipleofthecity.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  That way, discipleofthecity.com will redirect to the new domain until it expires. Once the old domain expires, we can remove it from your account so you will not be charged for it any further.

  Can you give those steps a try? Your theme will not be affected.
