Change of url name not showing up in url

  Hi There
  I’ve spent a long time setting up my new blog thanks. I’ve also decided to change the domain name of my new blog. However its not showing up in the url field of my browser.
  Under settings the change appears – just not in the url of my browser.
  also – I’m a premium subscriber.

  Are you still having this problem? If you want to change the actual title of your blog, you can do that in Settings->General here:

  Thanks Eurello for the response. Actually I meant that I would like to change my domain name to reflect the title of my blog. That possible? Or do I need to set up a whole new blog. If so, can I easily transfer everything across?

  Hi Ken – We can only cancel and refund new domain registrations within the first 48 hours after purchase. However, you are welcome to register an additional domain for your same blog and set it to primary, so the old redirects to the new. The cost would be $18.00 per year (or $26.00 per year for private registration) and you can do so by following these directions:

  Hi Ken – It’s not possible to change a domain, since the name itself is what you purchased. So by registering another domain, you’re essentially doing the same thing as paying to change it. I can cancel the old one, but since you’ve already paid for it, you might as well keep both.

  Let me know if you have any trouble registering the new one and setting it as primary!
