Change Opacity of Content layer

  Hello,

  I am using the Kale theme on my wordpress.org website and am unsure how to change the opacity of the content layer. I don’t know if I am using the right word here, but basically I want the background image to shine through a little more than it being blocked out by colour where the actual page content is.

  Is this possible?
