Change ownership

  I helped to set up a site for a friend. Now I want to hand it over to him and set it so he is the owner, notifications and ‘contact me’ messages are sent to his email address. He is set up as an Admin, but how do I transfer the site to him completely and delete my email address?

  Hi there,

  You can transfer ownership of the blog to another user by following these step-by-step instructions:

  To find this option, just go to My Sites > WP Admin > My Blogs. Just hover over the blog you’d like to transfer, and select Transfer Blog. From there, just follow the rest of the instructions provided in that support doc.

  Just make sure you thoroughly read the email that’ll be sent to you once you’ve been through the process to ensure that you’re fully on board with the transfer!
