Change Plan from Premium to Basic

  Hi,

  I just got my 30 day renewal notice and I wanted to switch my plan from Premium to the free plan. There’s no option for this and only an option to upgrade… I don’t want to cancel my subscription because I don’t want to lose all the work I’ve put into my website.

  What do I do?

  Hi rachelantoniadesigns,

  There are two options:

  1. Downgrade to the Personal plan which includes renewal for a custom domain:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  2. Downgrade to the Free plan and revert back to your free WordPress.com address (rachelantoniadesigns.wordpress.com).

  Neither options will remove any posts, pages or media from your site. However, just bear in mind that any Premium features you may be currently using (VideoPress and CSS) will no longer be available.

  Harmonic is a free theme so you can continue to use that :)

  If you let me know which option you prefer, I can downgrade your plan.

  No problem. As we last spoke a couple of weeks ago, I just want to double check that you are happy to revert back to your free WordPress.com address — cancelling your existing plan will also cancel your custom domain. If you won’t need this domain again in the future I’ll go ahead and downgrade your plan.

  currently Im trying to transfer my domain over to Weebly. Everything is going fine except wordpress says my domain is unlocked and weebly is saying that it is still locked.

  Once I can solve this the domain will be transfered and then I can downgrade the plan

  currently Im trying to transfer my domain over to Weebly.

  Your domain is currently pending transfer so it looks like you’ve got this sorted out. Once the transfer has confirmed by email, the process should take around 5 days to complete. Are Weebly still staying your domain is locked?

  I’ve also downgraded your plan from Premium to Free and set the primary domain for your site back to rachelantoniadesigns.wordpress.com.

  Come back to me if you need anything else or have questions about the transfer.

  Hello,
  I just purchased my plan, but would like to downgrade it from Premium to Personal. Can someone help me with this or should I just cancel the purchase and then buy the Personal plan?
