Change post date
-
Hi there, I want to change the dates of my posts to the past because I copied posts from another blog over to wordpress.com
I don’t see the options listed here, just a blue “Publish” button with no drop down.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/Also when I follow these instructions
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/can-i-change-the-date-of-a-post?replies=2
If I edit a post and go to the top right I see the date, but no option to edit it.
Is there any other way to do it, or to show the option?
Or is this a premium feature? I’m using the free version of wordpress, if that makes a difference, not premium.
I’m using the Cubic theme, if the theme makes any difference though I wouldn’t have thought it would as the edit page isn’t themed.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. The Schedule a post option isn’t for changing a date, but for scheduling new posts to automatically publish at some future time.
The instructions in the other thread you link apply specifically to the classic editor. If you’re using the new editor that option is somewhere else, under Advanced Options, I think, but I’m not sure as I don’t use that editor.
But the easiest way if you only want to change the date is from the All Posts screen. Go to the WP-Admin dashboard (http://robertinventor.wordpress.com/wp-admin/) and click on Posts ->All Posts. That will bring up a list of all your posts. Hover the mouse over a post title and you’ll see the options to Edit and Quick Edit. Click on Quick Edit, change the date in the appropriate area, and click update. https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#quick-edit

Great, that works fine and it’s a quick way to change the dates for all the posts. Much appreciated!
Thanks!
