Change Profile Email Confirmation Not received

I have changed my email address and it says email confirmation sent pending approval. However I have not received any email. Anyone has same issue? How to resolve this issue?

I have the same issue. I have obviously checked spam/junk. I have even used two different emails as one is associated with a different site. I have also contacted my hosting and they’ve checked the email logs and seen nothing from WordPress.
I have been trying for a while now to update the email associated with a clients website from his last web-dev guy to mine and I never received the confirmation email for it!

@fhdvk, are you talking about the WordPress.com account or about a site hosted elsewhere?

(my own sites are managed wordpress.com sites) but the one I am trying to change the email to is also WordPress.com.

Hi @supernovia – No, my own sites are hosted elsewhere – this is a site for a friend/client and I’m told WordPress hosted – it is for atlasedibles.com

Thanks, that’s hosted by Namecheap. It probably has a copy of WordPress on it. Perhaps this page will help?
Basically there’s our managed hosting service, and there’s the free software. We can provide support for the sites hosted here, but if someone is using the free software, they’re basically their own site-admin. There are a ton of resources at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ though, as well as an active community forum. Or, they’re welcome to move the site here if they want us to take care of it for them.
