Change Search Bubble Color in Twenty Twenty

Hello, what’s the CSS to change the search bubble color in twenty twenty?

    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hey… Sorry, new to this.

I am using bluehost for hosting. The url of the site is theinsidefight.com. However, it’s not launched. Do you need me to launch it so you can see it?

I need help with both the search bubble color and the mobile menu color.

I added a featured image to the homepage that is white in the top right, so of course this makes the white search bubble from the template invisible.

Additionally, while I’ve changed the desktop menu titles to black using css, on mobile, the primary menu items (same menu in WP) are showing up as the pink/red default color from WP twenty twenty.

    Does this help?

  • Ah, in that case we won’t be able to help you. Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentytwenty/ but bear in mind that others will need to see your site to come up with some custom code.
