It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

Thank you for your reaction.
De original domein spraaksaam.com is hosted at another company as a Swifty-site. If that company closes this domein then will everything be settled?
Or do have to change more, because it’s now a Swifty-site. -

I’m not sure what you mean.
If you want to use spraaksaam.com with your WordPress.com site, spraaksaamtos.wordpress.com, you will need to update the domain’s name servers to point towards WordPress.com, as I previously stated.
If that is not what you mean, please clarify and I will be happy to further assist you.

No. You must continue to renew the domain wherever you purchased it or transfer it to another registrar such as GoDaddy or Hover. In your case, if you want to map the domain to a WordPress.com blog, the ownership of the domain will remain separate from the mapping. Some hosting companies offer a free domain registration with the payment of a yearly hosting fee. At WordPress.com, the basic hosting is fee and add-ons are charged for—custom domain mapping is one of those.
