Change Sidebar Widget Area positioning to sticky

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi dear community, I need help with my website.
I use the Verity Theme which offers a nice sidebar widget area.
Unfortunately its not following when scrolling and I want to change that via CSS.
    I can´ t just use a plug-in because I am on a premium plan and this doesn´t allow plugin-installation.
    Any ideas? Would be great!
    Thanks in advance
    Silva

Hi Silva, I’ve tried a couple of things on your request, and this cannot be done cleanly as the sidebar ends up sliding up and over the featured image to the very top of your site. The other thing to consider is that with the number of widgets you have, those on tablets in landscape orientation, and typical laptops would not be able to see all of your widgets as some would be below the bottom border of the screen/window.

    Hi thesacredpath,
thanks a lot for your efforts.. seems to be not an easy one. I think I´ll have to live with it or change plans to business.
    Kindest Regards, Silvia
