Change site

  Hello there,

  some time ago I created my blog daniscorneroftheworld.wordpress.com, then after some more time I had a crazy idea and discarded the whole site. When I came back to writing, I found out I couldn’t use the same site name anymore and had to add ‘blog’ to the name to use it.

  My question is – is it possible to have my old site name back?

  Recycling a .wordpress.com URL is possible only if 2 or more years have expired after deletion and only in some cases. Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. From the relevant support doc at http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
