change site address

    Hi folks, I have the free plan. These steps don’t seem accurate for being able to change my site address.
    Go to My Site → Domains and click on your .wordpress.com address.
    You should see a page called Domain Settings.
    Find the Change Site Address section on that page:

    I found a “change your site address” under “Settings” but it just loops me back to a screen where no changes can be made. Appreciate any help! Lisa

    Hi Lisa, the URL change instructions apply to *.wordpress.com addresses, but not to *.home.blog addresses at this time. I’d recommend creating a new site instead, and transferring the posts over with export / import tools.
