Change site name

    Hello! I’ve created a free wordpress.com site which use the standard name for example smileandhelp.wordpress.com and i want to upgrade it to a premium plan, but i’d like to change its name in the process. I mean i want, in the process of upgrading the site, to get a domain name different from the previous one, like humanrights.com. How can i do so in order to get an entire new identity of my future premium site? PS: at this moment i don’t want to keep any data of my actual site except my wordpress account so i don’t worry about losing all my articles and media that i’ve already posted, i’d like, as i said, to get a full new identity. TY.

    You can create a fresh site with the premium version where you can easily add the custom domain (either the one you have or you can select the new one)to your site.
