Change Site Owner

  Hi!
  I need to change the site owner of my self-hosted website (using Jetpack). I’ve tried in the Settings > Manage Connection > Ownership area on wordpress.com, but got the error message ‘Site owner could not be changed to _username_. Please contact support.’ (_username_ replacing actual username).

  The other user is an administrator on the site and has linked their WordPress.com account through Jetpack. But still we can’t transfer ownership.

  Please help. Thanks!

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  Please make sure that the user you’re transferring to is already an administrator on your site and that they have connected their administrator account to their WordPress.com account.

  The user is an administrator on the site. But I will contact Jetpack support directly, thanks for the links.
