    Hi,

    I have no idea how I’ve ended up with that site title….Yikes

    I am actually wanting to move my domain (currently with GoDaddy) to you which is why I have signed up. I will be purchasing an e commerce plan with you once I can figure out how to fix the site title and move my current domain over.

    Can you please help me?

    If you could break it down in steps how to fix the site title/ move my current domain over that would be so helpful. Maybe explain it me like im a child so I don’t get confused haha

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of samplehouse.com.au?

    We’re not an accredited domain provider for .au domains, so it’s not possible to transfer that domain to us.

    To use that domain with your WordPress.com site, the only way to do that is to leave the domain registered at another provider, and connect it here using our domain connection upgrade, which I see you’ve already added.

    To complete that process you next need to log into your account at GoDaddy, and update the domain’s name servers to point it to us. Once you do that, the domain will start showing your WordPress.com site within a few hours.

    I assume you’re speaking of the address, samplehousecomau.wpcomstaging.com, rather than the title that appears on the front page, correct?

    The underlying wpcomstaging.com address for your site cannot be modified. But once you complete the process to point your domain here and set it as the primary domain on your site, that address won’t be visible to your site visitors at all, so it doesn’t really matter what that address is. It’s just a temporary placeholder for while you’re still working on the site, until you add your own domain.
