Change Site Title/Tagline to Image

  Because of the blur effect on the header photo, I can’t overlay a logo. Is there a way to use an image/logo as the “site title” or tagline text?
  I’ve tried several different changes in CSS but it makes no changes on the website.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, to be able to do that, would require custom CSS, and that would require either the WordPress.com Premium Plan or WordPress.com Business plan upgrade, both of which include Custom Design and the ability to add custom CSS.

  If you decide on the upgrade, add your image/logo as a site logo at Customize > Site Identity and then post back here and we can then enlarge it and reposition it if necessary.
