Change Slider Size in Argent

Hello, I would like to change the size of the slider in Argent. I like that the basic Argent slider can use both landscape and vertical photos without cropping or looking strange. All of my slides aren’t the same size so this is important to me. So I want to use the default slider Argent comes with. However, I would like to make the entire slider much larger. Is this possible? Thanks so much for your help!

Looks like you’re using Argent on a self-hosted site at jamiedavidsonphoto.com – is that the site where you need help? If so, please post in the Argent forum at WordPress.org, as the forums where you’ve posted here are for folks hosted on WordPress.com.

If you do need help with a WordPress.com site, changing the size of the Argent slideshow isn’t possible, as it requires making some code changes beyond just CSS.

Thanks Kathryn! I did not know that the themes function differently on WordPress.com versus WordPress.org. I thought it was the same theme and code, etc. Yes, you are correct that jamiedavidsonphoto.com is my site :) I will go over to WordPress.org to post my question. Thanks again and have a great day.

Themes function in a similar way on both platforms, but you have the option to make a child theme with PHP code changes on a self-hosted site, which you can’t do on WordPress.com. I’ll close this thread now, thanks!
