Change tab pop-up?
-
My testing blog is at http://t123123.wordpress.com. It uses Ed Merritt’s Ocean Mist theme, v. 1.2. I don’t think this question is about the theme.
The theme has a tab for each page, and each tab has a pop-up (or mouseover or whatever). The default value for the text in the pop-up is the name of the page. I thought I’d tweak this, as I don’t think it’s helpful to have a pop-up that says the same as what the mouse is pointing to.
But I can’t find anywhere to change the pop-ups. Did I miss it, or is it impossible? (I don’t want to mess with CSS.)
Thanks.

It’s not possible without CSS editing and I don’t even know if it’s possible with CSS editing. I’ll flag this thread so it’s moved to the CSS customization forum. Then Volunteers with CSS editing experience will locate it and respond to that question.

Those are called “tooltips” and they are added by the theme via the “title” attribute. Because these are added by the software, you cannot override them.
