Change tagline font Givingpress lite theme

    I have used basic CSS to try and change the tagline font, but have been unsuccessful. Could someone please provide me with the correct coding or the correct way to go about this?
    I went to Appearance –> Edit CSS –>
    .tagline {
    font-family: ‘Avenir’;
    }

    Hi there,

    I checked your site and I see it’s not hosted on WordPress.com. Your domain give2dance.org points to Hostgator. Based on this info, I assume you are WordPress.org user.

    I will still try to help you with this. Your code is partially right. All you need is the correct class and id. This code snippet will get you the desired font for your tagline. 

    #masthead .site-description {
font-family: 'Avenir';
}

    I am so grateful for your help! That worked wonders!! I apologize- I was unaware that there was a difference between the sites, so thank you for pointing that out.
