Change tags link to see my own content

  I use Andreas09 theme and the tags on the footer of the post are linked to general tags in WordPress, not to the contents of my blog. I was wondering if there’s anyway to change that or a way to delete the tag from the footer.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Nope, there is no way to change that. If you have the tags widget in the sidebar, then clicking on a tag in the widget will take people to posts on your blog.

  You can hide the tags at the bottom of posts in Andreas09, but it requires the paid CSS upgrade and some knowledge of CSS to do it. The BAD news is that it will also hide the “comments” link and the line below it.

  Well, in any case… The fact is that I don’t use tags, only categories, so WordPress is just inventing the tags!!! Anyone else have some brilliant idea? I have the CSS upgrade, but I don’t want to delete the comments line, only the tag.

  – Tags and categories are exactly the same.

  – No volunteer here knows more than thesacredpath does.

  – The only thing that can be added is that you can turn the global pages link off by selecting the middle privacy option under Settings>Privacy (which is also bad news).

  WordPress, and search engines see absolutely no difference between tags and categories. Both are provided here to give you the ability to further organize content. Categories: broad organization. Tags: finer organization. Here, the links in the posts area – categories and tags – both go to the wordpress global tags pages.

  The stuff below the posts in your theme is all controlled by one selector in the CSS and doing a display: none; on that selector takes away everything below the post. There is no way to change that.

  Your only choice would be to choose a different theme where the tags are controlled separately, and in all themes I’ve looked at, tags and categories are controlled by the same selector. In some instances though, the comments link is controlled separately.
