Change text color of Tweets in Twitter widget

    Hi-
    I’m trying to change the text color of the Tweets in the Twitter widget. The default makes the text before the link a very light gray that is difficult to read – and I’m looking for the CSS to change it to something more readable.

    I saw this CSS in another thread – but it didn’t work for me:

    .widget ul.tweets li a:link, .widget ul.tweets li a:visited {
    color: #851D1D !important;
    }

    It would seem that this is referring specifically to the links, anyway – and mine are coming up in black, which is fine. It’s the light gray text before the links that is the problem.

    Any suggestions for the newb would be most appreciated!

    Try this, changing color to suit you…

    .tweets li{color: #800000;}
