Change the “0 comments” at the bottom of each post to something like..

E.g “Is that a comment or are you just happy to see me?”

I know this q has been asked and people say “go to comments.php” but I don’t know what that is or how to find it. Can someone please explain how to find this file? I am on the freebie version of wordpress, does that affect my ability to alter this?

I know this q is probably stupid and all of you are laughing at me. I just wanna be a geek to yanno? :`(

you can’t modify any PHP code on WordPress.COM – you might have seen the reference to a WordPress.ORG site.

This would be possible if you bought the CSS upgrade. You’d need to create an image of the text that you wanted to appear and load that instead of the current text. If you wanted you would even be able to distinguish between posts that have and have not been commented on yet (although I’m not sure this would work across all browsers) and have two different phrases as links.
