Change the color in the header
-
I don’t understand why I can’t change the color in the header from pink to green.
Under customizing the design and colors & background in the wordpress-app it was only 2 clicks and then I had a green theme instead of pink at my testpage http://www.hjemlyboernehave.wordpress.com. I just can’t do this online for my page http://www.hjemlybornehave.dk. Can you help me? I’m not that good at CCS.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @juliehoej,
You can try entering the custom CSS code of:
.main-navigation { background-color: green; }Please check all the pages & blog post on every device to confirm it is not impacting anything else.
Also, for future reference, this is a public forum which provides support only for the sites hosted on WordPress.com.
The site you’re referring – hjemlybornehave.dk – is not hosted on WordPress.com. Your site is a self-hosted WordPress.org site (SURF-TOWN).

It worked thanks! But how do I change the nuance of the green? And how can I get the social media icons to be the same color?

I found out how to change the color nuance, but do you know a ccs-code to change the color of the social media icons?

Awesome! Glad to hear you figured it out:)
Changing your social media colors may be a bit more difficult depending on your theme.
As mentioned above, you will get assistance for your WordPress.ORG site at the WordPress.ORG support forum.
