Change the color of my link bar?

  I’m using the sandbox 1.6.1 theme with the Veracity edit (http://sndbx.org/results/designs/veracity/), and through various fumblings I have changed the link bar to a grey color. That I now dislike. And for the life of me I can’t figure out how to change it to another color. I have edited every color code in the CSS, and it hasn’t changed. I just don’t know enough about CSS to figure it out. Because I’m not sure what the code is, I can’t post any part of it to be helpful.

  Does anyone have any ideas, though? I’d really love something.

  You can edit the menu colour with this css.

  div#menu {background-color: #00ff00;}
