Change the entire background color of Syntax theme seems impossible.
-
On my blog « benwt.wordpress.com (this is a not referred blog I use for trials), using the theme “syntax”, I can change the entire (not only the frame, but also the text window) background color, WITHOUT subscribing to the premium plan, but this seems not possible for another blog user. Have you an explanation ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog linked to above is not wearing the Syntax theme. We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

I change the text window on my trial blog benwt.wordpress.com, but one other user can’t.
So I’d lost a customer.
I work on Mac, and he work PC. Perhaps it is the explanation?
(sorry, but i don’t speak english) -
Hi there,
In this theme, the background color changes differently depending on which process you use. If you use the Customizer to change the color the whole page color changes (as you experienced). If you go to Appearance>Background from the menu in WP-Admin, then the background changes, but the text windows stay white.
Syntax happens to be a theme where you can change the colors for free using the Customizer, but that isn’t totally clear from looking at the customizer window, so perhaps that’s why your client had trouble?
The Mac/PC difference shouldn’t be in play here.
