Hi Michael,
Do you mean you wish to remove the WordPress credits at the bottom of the site? If yes, then that can only be removed in a Business Plan.
If you wish to include a footer link to ‘About Me’ page. You can do that by choosing a right theme which supports bottom/footer menu.

@michaelthangamjm – You can somewhat customize the footer credits even if you cannot entirely remove them without the Business plan. See here for more info: https://en.support.wordpress.com/footer-credits/
If you are referring to your above site at michaelthangamjm.wordpress.com which does not currently display any footer at all, unless you have recently purchased the Business plan, you’ll want to note the following:
Sites on any plan other than Business are required to keep the footer credit intact. On those sites, you may choose from one of the alternative wordings or the WordPress icon.
Modifying the style of the footer text with custom CSS — i.e. colors and font size — is allowed as long as the credit stays readable.
Removing or hiding the footer is not allowed without the Business plan.

@michaelthangamjm you could also use custom CSS (which comes with WordPress Premium) to add to the footer credit.
It just needs to stay visible unless you have a business plan.

@supernovia – Since the footer credits are missing on the above site, and assuming that there is no Business plan in place, is this still something that can get a site suspended, as it has in the past? Thanks for clarifying.
