change the hover/link text colour in 'Button' theme

  Hi,

  I would like to change the colour of the menus when i hover over them and generally any text that is currently orange to navy blue,

  I have tried to edit the css but changing all instances of the hex code doesn’t seem to work

  can you help?

  Hi there. :)

  Is lauraandjamie2017.wordpress.com the site your customising? If so, you can select from a few different colour palettes via the Colours & Backgrounds panel of the WordPress.com Customizer.

  If you’d like some more custom design options, including the ability to add custom CSS, you’ll need to upgrade to a WordPress.com Premium or Business plan.

  We’ll be happy to help with the specific CSS that you need to change the colour of your site’s text, if you do choose to upgrade.

  Sorry, I have a domain now http://www.lauraandjamie2017.com

  Also I seem to have an issue with the size of the main white page area re-sizing on different menus, I would prefer the page width to remain the same regardless of the page or content, is this possible? I think you will see what I mean if you flick between menus?
